O R D E R
[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed, by the father of the detenu, namely, Ram Kumar, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records connected with the detention order of the second respondent, in Memo No.769/BCDFGISSSV/2016, dated 25.07.2016 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's son, by name Ram Kumar, son of Gurumurthy, aged about 22 years, detained in Central Prison II, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the son of the petitioner dated 25.07.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4630, dated 28.09.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.
3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
