O R D E R
The petitioner worked as Contract Labourer under the third
respondent in various sub stations. The petitioner submitted an application to the management to regularize his service. Since there was no follow up action taken by respondents 1 to 3, the petitioner along with others approached the fourth respondent. The fourth respondent was pleased to pass an order, directing regularizing the service of thirty employees including the petitioner vide order dated 2.3.1999. It is the case of the petitioner that the said order was challenged by respondents 1 to 3 before this Court in Writ Petition No.17290 of 1999. The Writ Petition was dismissed by this Court by order dated 7.4.2004. According to the petitioner, the order was upheld by the Division Bench.
2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that notwithstanding the earlier order, respondents 1 to 3 have not taken up action to comply with the order passed by the fourth respondent. The petitioner is therefore before this Court.
3. The third respondent is directed to take action to comply with the order passed by the fourth respondent dated 2.3.1999 and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible and in any case within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
