O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to transfer the investigation pertaining to the Crime No.2198/2017 on the file of the 2nd respondent to some other agency or to the competent authority investigate the case.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent police have a registered a case in Crime No.2198 of 2017 on 28.06.2017 under Sections 406 and 420 I.P.C. against https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Rocky Swaris and Metram Swaris. Not satisfied with the progress of investigation, the petitioner has filed the present petition for transfer of investigation on the ground that the mother of the accused is working as Inspector of Police.

4. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR, this Court is of the view of that interest of justice will be served, if the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Triplicane is directed to monitor to the investigation in Choolaimedu PS Crime No.2198 of 2017. The 2nd respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.2198 of 2017 within in a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a charge sheet or a closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
