ORDER
(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.C.Kanagaraj appearing in person, Mr.A.Edwin Prabakar, learned State Government Pleader assisted by Mr.K.Jarthik Jegannath, learned Government Advocate, for respondent Nos.1 and 2,, Mr.V.Karthick, learned counsel for respondent No.7 and Mr.Ayyadurai, learned senior counsel for respondent No.8.
2. The present petition is filed seeking directions to the respondents to issue the judgments of the High Court in Tamil Language. The petitioner has given suggestions. The suggestion is to translate the judgments of the High Court, the Trial Courts and the District Courts in Tamil language.
3. Under the Supreme Court project, steps are already undertaken for translating the judgments of this Court in Tamil language.
4. It also needs to be stated that in the State of Tamil Nadu,
there is a journal namely 'Theerpu Thirattu' since 1982 thereby providing translation of the selective judgments of the High Court in Tamil Language.
5. As steps have already been taken for translation of the judgments in Tamil language, no further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
