Sathiyanathan, Male, aged about 32 years is presently lodged in Central Prison, Puzhal at Chennai and has been detained under Act 14/82 as a "Goonda" vide detention order 26.08.2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein, made in BCDFGISSSV No./969/2016 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the said detenu before this Hon'ble Court and thereafter set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed, by the mother of the detenu, namely, Robert Peterson, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records connected with the detention order of the second respondent, in Memo https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
No.969/BCDFGISSSV/2016, dated 26.08.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's son, by name Robert Peterson, son of Sathiyanathan, aged about 32 years, detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the petitioner dated 26.08.2016 has been revoked by the Government.
3.Recording the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
