ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to consider and dispose off the petitioner's revision petition dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

05.05.2021 against the order passed in Ref.No.e/f/</ 4/9185/18 by the Assistant Settlement Officer (North), chennai and to determine the matter on merit after conducting a fair and proper enquiry with sufficient opportunity to the petitioners herein.

2. Heard, Mr.D.Parthasarathy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4.

3. Without going into the merits of the case, the revision filed by the petitioner dated 05.05.2021 as against the order passed by the second respondent and it is pending.

4. Considering the above, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the revision filed by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the fifth respondent and other counter parties, if any and after giving them an opportunity of hearing and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No order as to costs.
