This petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to provide adequate and necessary police protection to the petitioner and her grand daughter Shakthi Manohori on the basis of the representation made to the first and second respondents on 07.12.2020 in accordance with law.

2. It is seen that the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 07.12.2020 to provide police protection and the same is still pending without any progress.

3. In view of the above, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 9 herein and conduct enquiry and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2020, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
