Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, pleased to grant an Anticipatory Bail in the event of his arrest in connection with Crime No.313 of 2024 registered by the respondent police for offences under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 66D of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in view of the changed circumstances and subsequent developments. The petitioner, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) of BNS, 2023 and Section 66 D of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in Crime No.313 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.
2. This is the second bail petition filed by the petitioner. The counter filed by the respondent police indicates that huge sum of money has been cheated from various persons and as on date, 26 complaints of online fraud have been registered against the petitioner. The total quantum of defraud exceeds Rs.6 crores, out of which only Rs.15 lakhs has been recovered so far.
3. Considering the above facts, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 18.08.2025 bsm Note :
