This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 29 days in filing the Criminal Appeal against the Judgment dated 29.03.2023 in C.C.No.139 of 2019 on the file of the learned Special Judge I, Additional Special Court for exclusive trial of cases under NDPS Act, Chennai.

2. Mr.M.P.Kumar, learned Special Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent did not raise any serious objection and this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.

3. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if it is in order, and list the matter for admission.
