O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 318(4) of the BNSS, in Crime No.Not Known of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submitted that the petition for cheating against the de facto complainant is pending enquiry.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) further submitted that if the petitioner cooperates with the enquiry, there may not be any need to resort to coercive steps. Taking note of the said fact, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed.

4. The petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on summons, and on such cooperation with the enquiry, the respondent police shall not resort to any coercive steps unless a cognizable offence is made out in the course of the investigation.
