Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records connected with G.O.(3D) No.115 High Ways (HL3) Department, dated 19.09.2007 of the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Assistant Divisional Engineer on par with the petitioner's juniors with all consequential benefits.

Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records connected with G.O.(3D) No.115 High Ways (HL3) Department, dated 19.09.2007 of the 1st respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents to promote the petitioner as Assistant Divisional Engineer on par with the petitioner's juniors with all consequential benefits.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the issue involved in this writ petition no longer survives for adjudication and therefore, the writ petition may be dismissed as infructuous. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
