With the consent of both sides, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the third respondent to take necessary action on the application of the petitioner in Application No.2024/0123/18/002271 dated 03.05.2024 and to survey her land situated in new Survey No.6/25 at Mathalampattu village, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The case of the petitioner is that she has purchased the property measuring an extent of 0.03.42 hectare(3229 sq.ft.) situated in new Survey No.6/25 at Mathalampattu village, Cuddalore Taluk, Cuddalore District from one Kalaimani, S/o Kathirvel, the power agent of one Usha, W/o K.I.Manirathinam through a registered sale deed in document No.836/2024 for a sale consideration of Rs.6,28,500/-. The grievance of the petitioner is that though she had applied for surveying her land and to change patta by paying necessary charges vide Application No.2024/0123/18/002271 dated 03.05.2024 and has also made 2/4

representation before the first respondent on 06.05.2024 and through registered post to respondents 1 and 2 on 23.05.2024, the same have not been considered by the respondents till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 03.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other parties interested, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
