ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Section 468 & 471 IPC in Cr.No.1 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that accused/A-1 have brought undue coercion and influence to the Puducherry Slum Clearance Board for out of turn promotion to the post of Revenue Inspector claiming that he had passed B.Com and Diploma in Computer Application (DCA). Thereafter, all the certificates along with mark sheets alleged to have been forged certificates and the petitioner herein is a teacher in a tutorial centre where the accused/A-1 studied and he is alleged to have prepared the fake education qualification certificates for accused/A-1 to secure the above said job. Hence, the law enforcing agency registered a case against the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that there was relationship between the petitioner and accused/A1 in 1994 and thereafter, he had no contact with A-1. Hence prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that as on date the petitioner is not named as accused, however investigation is in initial stage, and allegation against the accused pertains to preparing fake certificates which is serious in nature. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the allegation levelled against the petitioner, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
