Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondent / Tahsildar, Tiruttani Taluk Thiruvallur District to consider and dispose of the petitioners Patta Transfer Applciation bearing No 2026 / 0105 / 01 / 034973 dated 10.06.2026 in respect of the property comprised in Survey No 301/ 8A measuring an extent of 1,320 sq.Ft., situated at Tiruttani Town Panchayat, Tiruttani Taluk, Thiruvlalur District, on the basis of the Registered Sale Deed dated 21.01.1998 For Petitioner(s):

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.06.2026.
2. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's counsel, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. By consent of the parties, the main petition is taken up for disposal in the stage of admission itself.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner filed a representation dated 10.06.2026 before the respondent, requesting for transfer of patta in favour of the petitioner. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
5. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of within a period of 4 weeks and hence, he requests this Court to pass appropriate orders.
6. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
7. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondent to consider the representation of the
petitioner dated 10.06.2026 and after issuing notice to all the concerned parties, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
