ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) The grievance of the petitioner is that though a preliminary report has been issued by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry based on his complaint and also based on his representation dated 05.12.2024, there is no much progress in the proceedings. Thus, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Today, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry submitted that a resolution has been passed by the Bar Council in Resolution No.274 of 2025 and the complaint has been referred to the Disciplinary Committee No.10 and that they would complete the proceedings within the time stipulated under the Advocates Act.

3.Since the petitioner's grievance has been redressed, no further orders are required to the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands closed with a direction to the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry to expedite the proceedings and complete the same within the time stipulated, after following the statutory procedure laid down for completion of such proceedings.
