Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, against the detention order passed by the second respondent No. 887/BCDFGISSSV/2016 by order dated 11.08.2016, directing the respondent to produce the detenu T. Anthony Yagappan, son of Thomas, aged about 36 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal for men, Chennai, before this Hon'ble Court and set him at liberty.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed, by the brother of the detenu, namely, T.Anthony Yagappan, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records connected with the detention order of the second respondent, in Memo No.887/BCDFGISSSV/2016, dated 11.08.2016 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the body and person of the petitioner's brother, by name T.Anthony Yagappan, son of Thomas, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

aged about 36 years, detained in Central Prison, Puzhal for Men, Chennai, before this Court and set him at liberty.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the order of detention passed by the second respondent as against the brother of the petitioner dated 11.08.2016 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4839, dated 06.10.2016 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
