ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to dispose of the statutory appeal dated 30.01.2023 filed by the petitioner pending against the punishment of stoppage of increment for six months with cumulative effect passed by the second respondent in se.mu.no. 1287/2021/p2 dated 30.11.2022, so as to enable to get notional promotion as forester on par with his juniors.

2. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that he has filed statutory appeal against the punishment of stoppage of increment for six months with cumulative effect passed by the second respondent before the first respondent and the same is pending. Hence, seeks a direction to the first respondent to dispose the within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/5

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the appeal filed by the petitioner will be disposed by the respondents within the time frame fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limit relief sought in this Writ Petition, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner dated 30.01.2023 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
