O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent police to alter the charges in the FIR registered in Crime No.745 of 2018.

2. The learned Addl. Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent Police submitted that the respondent Police, after completing the investigation filed a final report before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Villupuram for an offence under Sections 279 and 337 IPC and the same was taken on file in STC.No.76 of 2019. It was further brought to the notice of this Court that the accused person pleaded guilty and a fine was also imposed as a sentence and the same was paid by the accused person and the case itself has been disposed of by an order dated 4.3.2019.

3. In view of the above development, the relief claimed by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the order passed by the trial court, it is always left open to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.

4. In the result, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
