These Civil Revision Petitions have been preferred challenging the order of learned VII Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai 26.08.2021 made in R.C.A.Nos.286 of 2017 and 100 of 2021 modifying the order made in R.C.O.P.No.2213 of 2012 dated 12.07.2016 on the file of the 2/5

learned X Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai. 2.Today, the matters are listed for hearing under the caption "for reporting settlement".

3.As per the order of the Rent Control Appellate Authority, the fair rent has been fixed at Rs.9,756/- per month.

4.The learned counsel for the tenant submitted that there is an arrears of Rs.4,69,408/-. It is to be noted that the fair rent was fixed by the Rent Controller at Rs.8,906/-. Arrears of rent was agreed to be paid at the rate of rent fixed by the Rent Controller till 31.10.2021 and thereafter till date at the rate of enhanced fair rent fixed by the Rent Control Appellate Authority.

5.On these terms, the parties have filed a joint memo of 3/5

compromise and the same is recorded, in the presence of parties who would be confirmed the terms. Hence, these Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of in terms of joint compromise memo. The joint compromise memo shall form part of the order. No costs.
