The respondent in D.O.P.No. 1256 of 2016 on the file of Additional Family Court, Coimbatore, is the petitioner in this transfer petition.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, she is a permanent resident of Chennai and it would not be possible for her to travel to Coimbatore for the purpose of defending the proceedings pending before the Additional Family Court, Coimbatore.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner wanted to transfer the proceedings before the Family Court at Chennai.

The learned counsel for the respondent fairly submitted that the respondent has no objection in transferring the proceedings to a Court at Chennai.

In view of the submissions made on behalf of the parties, the proceedings in D.O.P.No. 1256 of 2015 is withdrawn from the file of Additional Family Court, Coimbatore and is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transferred to the file of Family Court, Chennai, for disposal on merits.

7. The Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed as indicated above.

No costs.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
