This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the petitioner, who is the father of the detenue, namely, Shabnam Sultana, aged about 25 years, before this Court and set her at liberty. 2.

The petitioner has stated that his daughter, namely, Shabnam Sultana, had been missing since 30.11.2015. Therefore, the petitioner had lodged a complaint before the respondent. On the said complaint, a case has been registered in Crime No.3211 of 2015 for ''Woman Missing'' by the respondent police. 3.

Today, when the matter has been listed for hearing, the respondent produced the detenue Shabnam Sultana before this Court. The parents of the detenue are also present before this Court. 4.

On enquiry, the detenue had submitted that she had married one Rizwan Mastan on 30.11.2015 and that he is employed in Qatar. She has also stated that she does not want to go back with her parents and that she wants to live only with her husband, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

namely, Rizwan Mastan. The detenue has also submitted that her date of birth is 16.02.1990. She had also requested this Court to direct her parents to give her original Passport and the I.D. Card which are said to be with them. However, the parents of the detenue had stated that the Passport and other original papers relating to her daughter were not available with them. 5.

In view of the statements made by the detenue, we do not find any reason to grant the relief as prayed for by the petitioner in the present Habeas Corpus Petition as the detenue is found to be a major.

6.

In these circumstances, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
