ORDER
This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.12.2019.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, a representation was filed by the petitioner, requesting the respondents to take action in the matter of payment of compensation for the land measuring 1.29 acres in T.S.No.1868 of Thiruvannamalai Town, 4th Ward and 34th Block acquired for the purpose of Kalaignar Karunanithi Government Arts College. However, the said representation was not at all considered by the respondent till date. Hence, this petition.
3. In reply, the learned counsel for the respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation will be disposed of by the 2nd respondent within a period of 8 weeks.
4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the respondent and also perused the entire materials available on record.
5. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of
the petitioner dated 23.12.2019 and after issuing due notice to the petitioner, dispose of the same, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
