The prayer sought for in this petition is to direct the respondent police to drop further action in this case Crime No.139/05 and file the closure report before the concerned court.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Crime No.139/2005 has been completed and the draft charge sheet is made ready.

3. In view of the above, the respondent police is directed to file the charge sheet before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, if not already filed.
