Mr.S.Udayakumar Government Advocate (Crl.Side) COMMON ORDER These two Criminal Original Petitions are filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking direction to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime Nos.1 and 7 of 2021, on the file of the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, Cuddalore District.

The petitioner herein has given a specific complaints regarding misappropriation of the public fund meant for farmers affeted in the Thane cyclone during the year 2015 and the accumulation of disproportionate asset by one Santhanakrishnan / Village Administrative Officer. These two complaints were made in the year 2018. The respondent police registered the complaints on 03.08.2018 conducted preliminary enquiry, two cases subsequently registered in Crime Nos.1 & 7 of 2021.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submitted that the investigation in these two complaints are almost completed and the final report will be filed after getting approval from the Vigilance Commissioner.

Hence, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of with the direction that the 2nd respondent shall file the final report in both the cases within 60 days from today and same may be intimated to the petitioner herein.
