Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to survey the land of the petitioner situated in Chiyalam Village, Vandhavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, survey No.9/2A1A, 9/2B, as per the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2024.

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to survey his land in Survey Nos.9/2A1A & 9/2B situated at Chiyalam Village, Vandhavasi Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District, by considering his representation dated 19.02.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, he submitted an application through online seeking survey of the above mentioned properties. The e-challan issued to the petitioner dated 14.02.2024, which is enclosed in the typed set of papers, would indicate that the petitioner paid necessary charges for survey of the above mentioned land.

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, the learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondent.

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this 2/4

Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondent to consider the request of the petitioner for survey of the land as per representation on 19.02.2024 and pass final orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
