Respondents Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue writ of habeas corpus directing the respondent to produce the body and person of the detenue by name Subalakshmi daughter of the petitioner herein aged about 17 years who has been missing from 21-06-2016 onwards and who has been under the custody of the third and fourth respondent herein before this Court and set her at liberty and pass orders.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents 1 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and 2 to trace out and produce the detenue by name Subalakshmi aged 17 years, daughter of the petitioner.

The petitioner is present and he has been identified by his counsel. The first respondent who is the Inspector of Police, Veerapandi Police Station has produced the detenue and she has been identified by her father/petitioner. 3.
It is seen from the records that the detenue has got birth on 13-11-1998 and therefore, she has not attained majority. Further, the detenue is not willing to go with her father. Under the said circumstances, she has to be housed in a home as mentioned infra:
In fine, the first respondent who is the Inspector of Police, Veerapandi Police Station is directed to house the detenue by name, Subalakshmi in Mariyalaya Home(Government Approved), Annuparpalayam, Tiruppur till she attains majority. If there is any change, during interregnum period, liberty is given to file a petition.
