The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the 2nd respondent to survey the petitioner's land situated in S.Nos.Ayan Punjai Re-Survey Nos.455/21, 0.19, 455/2J 0.14, 455/2K 0.14, 455/2L 0.11 and 455/2M 0.11 in Thevaiyur (South) Village, Thevaiyur Village Panchayat Limits, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District and issue separate patta in the name of the petitioner for an extent of 0.04 cents out of 0.69 cents in the said survey numbers.

According to the petitioner, he purchased 0.04 cents out of 0.69 cents from one K.Kullapethan under the sale deed registered as Document No.1495/2000 on the file of Valikandapuram Sub Registrar Office. The petitioner applied for separate patta for the above said land before the 2nd respondent and his request was rejected by him. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the 1st respondent. The 1st respondent by an order dated 10.09.2012 directed inclusion of petitioner's name in the patta along with names of other owners. Now, the petitioner wants to survey the land which was purchased by him and issue separate patta in his name.
3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice 2/4
for the respondents, on instructions, submitted that the survey of the land of the petitioner will be completed by the 2nd respondent within a period fixed by this Court.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry by issuing notice to all persons interested and pass final orders on the request made by the petitioner, within a period of six weeks from today.
5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed. No costs.
