ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, challenging the order of rejection, dated 18.04.2012, passed by the second respondent, for selection to the post of Grade-II Police Constable, on medical grounds.
2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that in the recruitment process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services, the petitioner has participated, however, as he was not selected to the post of Grade-II Police Constable.

3. In this case, the petitioner underwent Medical Examination for the second time and the Director/Superintendent of Regional Institute of Ophthalmic Hospital and Government Ophthalmic Hospital, Chennai, examined the petitioner. In his report, it was stated, "both eyes unfit for the post of Grade-II Police Constable because of post Lasik Procedure".
4. Since the petitioner has got defect in the eyes, he cannot be considered for the selection to the post of Grade-II Police Constable. Therefore, I do not find any reason to interfere with the order passed by the second respondent and this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(CS VII) //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar ogy To
