This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 250 days in filing the appeal.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Considering the issue involved in this matter, though the learned counsel for the respondent made objections, we are of the view that ends of justice would be meet by imposing cost. Hence, delay may be condoned, on payment of cost.

4. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand and Five Hundred only) by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 05.11.2024.

5. On payment of cost, the Registry is directed to number the appeal and post it for admission on 06.11.2024, if the same is otherwise in order.

6. If the cost is not paid on or before 05.11.2024, this C.M.P. stands dismissed without further reference to this Court.
