O R D E R
Mr.P.Godson Swaminathan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to write the arrear papers in Master of Labour Management (Enrolment No: 2571050216, Course code: 257); and L.L.M.Branch II- Labour and Industrial Relations and Administrative Law (Enrolment No: 2581301143, Course code:258) by considering the representation given by petitioner dated 17.11.2023 and 05.04.2024. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner joined the course of MLM for the academic year 2010 - 2011. It is the further submission that the petitioner has also registered with LLM Degree, a three year programme for the academic year 2013 - 2014. Though he joined the course, due to his family circumstances, he was not in a position to write the examination. The 2/4
learned counsel would further submit that though the petitioner had completed all mandatory personal conduct programme, the University online portal does not permit them to register for the said examination. In this connection, he has sent representation on 17.11.2023 and 05.04.2024 and such representation is yet to be considered by the respondents.
4.At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel would submit that the respondents would consider the petitioner's representation within a reasonable time.
5.In such view of the matter, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the above representation of the petitioner upon its own merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.The writ petition is disposed of.
