O R D E R

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to give protection to the petitioner from an encounter threat made by the 4th respondent.

2. Heard Mr.P.Pugalenthi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Zakir Hussain, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. Mr.Zakir Hussain, learned Government Advocate on instructions from the respondents would submit that there is no encounter threat as alleged by the petitioner and hence the protection sought for by the petitioner is only on an apprehension without any basis.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, no further orders is required in this Writ Petition . Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
