This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.35 of 2021, pending on the file of the first respondent police.
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the first respondent police has closed the First Information Report in Crime No.35 of 2021 as "further action dropped" (FAD), as a result of which, the prayer sought in this petition has become infructuous. 3.
Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
