This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Virudhachalam to dispose S.T.C.No. 849 of 2018 pending on his file within a stipulated time.

2. Heard the submissions of learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Virudhachalam to expedite the trial proceedings in S.T.C.No.849 of 2018 and dispose the case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and report before this Court after completion of the Trial.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
