Respondent - - - - This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking for extension of time for the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce an Arbitral Award.

2. According to the petitioner, trial has already been completed and arguments are also over and that the Arbitrator will have to pronounce the Arbitral Award. Notice in this application was served on the respondent as seen from the Affidavit of Service filed by the learned counsel for the applicant, who has filed the Affidavit of Service enclosing the delivery report issued by the Postal authorities, which confirms that the notice has been duly served on the respondent.

3. Sufficient reasons have been stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application seeking for extension of time for the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce the Arbitral Award.

4. As seen from the affidavit, arguments have already been addressed by both the parties to the dispute and it has been adjourned only for the pronouncement of the Arbitral Award. 1/3

5. Therefore, this Court is allowing the application as prayed for, by directing the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce the Arbitral Award, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
