ORDER

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the order dated 04.06.2026 was passed by this Court, he was not informed by the petitioner that the petitioner had already been arrested on 19.03.2026 and was confined in jail. He submits that the present amendment petition has been filed to modify

paragraph No. 12(i) of the said order dated 04.06.2026. 2.Mr. M. Dinesh, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent, also confirms that the petitioner was arrested on 19.03.2026 and is currently confined at the Central Prison, Puzhal. Thus, he submits that he has no objection to paragraph No. 12(i) of the order dated 04.06.2026 being modified accordingly.

3.On 04.06.2026, this Court was pleased to pass the following direction in paragraph No. 12(i), which is extracted hereunder: "The Revision Petitioner shall surrender before the Learned IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai within three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such surrender, the Revision Petitioner is ordered to be released on bail, on his executing a personal bond, along with two sureties for a sum of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) each, subject to furnishing an undertaking that he will cooperate in the hearing of the present Revision." 4.Considering the arguments advanced by the learned counsel for both parties, and after perusing the amendment petition, this Court is satisfied that a case for modification has been made out. Consequently, paragraph No. 12(i) of the order dated 04.06.2026 passed by this Court is modified as under: "The Revision Petitioner, who is currently confined at the

Central Prison-I, Puzhal, shall be released on bail upon executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned IV Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, and subject to furnishing an undertaking that he will cooperate fully in the hearing of the present Revision."

5.All other conditions stipulated in paragraph No. 12 and other paragraphs of the order dated 04.06.2026 shall remain unaltered. 6.Accordingly, the amendment petition is allowed with the above directions.
