PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 1 to 5 consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.04.2023 and 10.06.2024 to the letter and spirit and take action against the 6th respondent by removing the encroachments made on the water bodies namely Ramasamy Moopanar Eri, Manakaattu Eri, Vaari (Water Way) and Kuttai Porambokku in Survey Nos. 51, 102,105, and 107 to an extent of about 32.5 ares at reddyapalayam Village, Ariyalur Taluk and District in accordance with the 1st respondent's order vide Government Order No.66 dated 24.02.2012 which was upheld by the order of this Court in WP.No.21720 of 2012 dated 21.12.2022 Writ Appeal No.214 of 2023 dated 20.03.2023.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner seeks issuance of direction to the respondent authorities for removal of encroachment allegedly made by the sixth respondent.
2. It appears that earlier also, a petition was filed seeking the same relief. It was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 25.06.2012. It was observed that it is for the State to take suitable action. Later on, the State initiated proceedings and passed adverse
orders. It is stated by learned State Counsel as well as learned counsel for the sixth respondent that a revision has been filed and the same is pending before the Government.
