The writ of mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents to allot one medical seat to the petitioner, during the academic year 2020 - 2021, on compassionate ground, by considering the ill health of the petitioner. 2.

It is to be noted that the admissions are governed under the regulations and based on the terms and conditions stipulated in the prospectus issued during the academic years. Since the academic year 2020 - 2021 had been completed, the relief sought for in the present writ petition lost its relevance. Therefore, no further adjudication is required in this matter. 3.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
