This original petition has been filed by the mother seeking guardianship of Kavya, her 10 year old minor child. 2.
The pleadings reveal that the petitioner is a resident of Villupuram, the respondent is a resident of Cuddalore and the child for whom custody is sought, is also at Cuddalore. The marriage between the parties was solemnised at Cuddalore. No cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this High Court, except the advantage of the Full Bench judgment of this Court in S. Annapoorni vs. K. Vijay [2022 SCC OnLine Mad 4367], which confers jurisdiction of custody matter with the Ordinary Original Civil Jurisdiction (OOCJ) of the Madras High Court. 3.
The learned counsel for the petitioner wants the matter to be referred to mediation.

Considering the facts which have been narrated above, it is appropriate to suo motu transfer this O.P. to the file of the Principal District Court, Cuddalore and the Principal District Judge, Cuddalore, shall number the case and refer it to the Mediation Centre, Cuddalore District and proceed further.
