This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider

and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2022, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court, and consequently direct the respondents herein to fix the seniority in the appropriate place on par with juniors to the petitioner and to promote the petitioner as Chief Head Warden on par with the Juniors to the petitioner with all monetary and attendant benefits.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondents to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2022, within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court, and consequently direct the respondents herein to fix the seniority in the appropriate place on par with juniors to the petitioner and to promote the petitioner as Chief Head Warden on par with the Juniors to the petitioner with all monetary and attendant benefits."

2. The petitioner was appointed as a Warden on 12.11.1988 and was promoted as Head Warden in the year 2007. The case of the petitioner is that he participated in the promotional training for the post of Chief Head

Warden in the year 2012. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner alone was denied promotion without any written order or reason. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 18.11.2022 to the respondents in this regard. Since there is no response, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2022 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs 23-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order KAN
