This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to amend the offences under Sections 296(b), 281, 118(2), 351(3) and 109 of BNS instead of 296(b), 281, 118(2) and 351(3) of BNS in the order passed in Crl. O.P. No.13757 of 2026 dated 27.05.2026.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail vide order of this Court passed in Crl. O.P. No.13757 of 2026 dated 27.05.20266. In the anticipatory bail petition, the offences were wrongly mentioned as 296(b), 281, 118(2) and 351(3) of B.N.S. whereas, the said offences were subsequently altered to Sections 296(b), 281, 118(2), 351(3) and 109 of BNS and the same was omitted to be mentioned and at the time of execution of sureties by the petitioner, the same was returned as the offences were not mentioned correctly and therefore, the petitioner could not execute the sureties. Hence he prays that the above said error may be corrected.
3. There is no serious objection raised by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police.
4. In view of the same, this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is ordered, accordingly. The Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment and to issue a fresh order copy.
