This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to call for the records and quash the FIR in Crime No.8 of 2021 pending investigation on the file of the first respondent police. For Petitioners :

ORDER

Today, when this criminal original petition was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police submitted that the police completed the investigation of the case in Crime No.8 of 2021 and filed the final report before the Additional Mahila Court, Thiruvallore on 21.09.2022. The said final report has also been taken on file in C.C.No.580 of 2023.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners sought the permission of this Court to withdraw the present criminal original petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the petition.

3. Considering the request coupled with an endorsement made by the learned counsel for petitioners, this criminal original petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 18.08.2023 mrr Index: Yes/No 2/4
