ORDER

The applicant herein / plaintiff in TO.S.No.12 of 2018 has filed the present application to issue Subpoena to summon the Assistant Director, Audio and video Division, Truth Labs, Bangalore as further witness on the side of the defendant.

2. In the affidavit filed, it had been contended that the witness who is sought to be examined had given a report with respect to the Forensic C.V. KARTHIKEYAN,J., https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

A.No.2852 of 2025 vum Audio Authentication Report dated 29.06.2016. It is contended that the witness who is to be summoned is Mr.H.V.Naveen, the author of the said report and who is now working as an Assistant Director of Audio and Video division, Truth labs, Bangalore. Since he is a witness who has to be examined on Subpoena being issued, it would only be appropriate that his evidence in chief is also recorded orally. Let me not make any further observations and leave it to the wisdom of the learned counsels to handle the witness during his examination and cross examination.

3. Heard the learned Senior Counsel on behalf of the respondent / defendant in T.O.S.No.12 of 2018 / plaintiff in C.S.No.563 of of 2019.
