The petitioner / wife has come up with the above transfer petition, seeking transfer of G.W.O.P.No.151 of 2024 from the file of Principal District Judge, Coimbatore to the file of Family Court, Tirupur. 1/4

2. Despite service of notice in the above transfer petition, the respondent has neither chosen to appear in person nor through counsel. The name of the respondent is also printed in the cause list. Name of the respondent was called out, but there is no representation. Hence, he is set ex parte. I have proceeded to hear the learned counsel for the petitioner. I have also gone through the affidavit filed in support of the request for transfer.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/wife submits that the respondent /husband has filed G.W.O.P.No.151 of 2024 on the file of Principal District Court, Coimbatore and also filed a petition for divorce on the ground of cruelty in H.M.O.P.No.41 of 2025 on the file of Family Court, Tirupur.

4. It is stated that petitioner/wife is working in hyderabad and she is the sole bread winner of the family. Apart from that, she has to look after her two children and her parents and hence, it is extremely difficult for her to travel to two different Courts in two Districts on different dates. Hence, the present petition seeking transfer.

5. I am satisfied that the petitioner has made out a good ground for transferring the case from the file of Principal District Court, Coimbatore to the file of Family Court, Tirupur.

6.Accordingly, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is allowed and the case in G.W.O.P.No.151 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of the Principal District Court, Coimbatore and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Tiruppur.
