This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.404 of 2018 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Polur Station,Thiruvannamalai District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of allegations in the FIR and the fact that the FIR was registered in the year 2018, this Courts directs the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.404 of 2018 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a charge sheet or a closure report as the case may be, under due intimation to the de facto complainant. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
