Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to renew the lease of the right to display advertisements in glow sign boards in Alandur Bus terminus of the respondent corporation for a further period of 12 years and forbear the respondent their men, servant, agent or any one claiming under him from in any manner interfering with the petitioner's right in the same.

ORDER
This petitioner prays to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to renew the lease of the right to display advertisements in glow sign boards in Alandur Bus terminus of the respondent corporation for a further period of 12 years and forbear the respondent, their men, servant, agent or any one claiming under him from in any manner interfering with the petitioner's right in the same.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the respondent Corporation is wholly owned by the Government of Tamilnadu undertaking and they invited applications for grant of license for erection of glow sign boards in various terminus of the corporation. The petitioner has approached the respondent by proper channel and finally obtained license. 3.It was to the shock and surprise to the petitioner, that he received the phone call from the respondent on 30.06.2008 to remove the glow sign boards that have been erected at Alandur Bus Terminus without assigning any valid reason or any written notice was issued. Thus, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing this writ petition.
4.When the matter is listed today the learned counsel for the petitioner made a submission that the matter has become Infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. 5.In view of the above statement and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
