This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a final report in Crime No.101 of 2016. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent.
3.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the respondent Police have registered a case in Crime No.101 of 2016 on 11.06.2016 for the offence under Section 419, 420, 465, 468 and 471 IPC against four accused. While so, this petition has been filed by the de facto complainant for a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a charge sheet within a time bound manner.

4.Learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submitted that the Police have not yet obtained the admitted signature from the SRO, Triplicane and on account of that, they have not been able to proceed further with the investigation.
5.Be that as it may, taking into consideration all these facts, the respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and either file a closure report or a charge sheet as the case may be under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
