This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.328 of 2024 on the file of the respondent-Police and to quash the same insofar as the petitioners are concerned.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondentPolice and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent-Police on instructions submitted that after completion of investigation in Crime No.328 of 2024, charge sheet was filed before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai vide E-Filing No.LTN202300002193C202500071.

4. The grounds taken by the petitioners are nothing but defence, which can be agitated only during the course of trial befor the trial Court. Since the investigation was over and charge sheet has also been filed before the magistrate concerned, the relief sought for by the petitioners in this criminal original petition has become infructuous. In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
