O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to act upon the communication of the st respondent dated 20.12.2024 and to re-lay the pathway in R.S.Nos.231/1, 232/1 and 232/3 in Chinnamuthur Village, Kangeyam Taluk, Tiruppur District.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials placed on record.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the 4 th respondent has illegally quarried a portion of the land which was a pathway and various complaints were given in this regard. An enquiry was conducted and it was found that the th respondent had quarried the pathway and created a deep pit causing inconvenience to the users of the pathway. The 1 st respondent has addressed a 2/4

letter to the 2 nd respondent dated 20.12.2024, directing the 2 nd respondent to take further action by making spot inspection and conduct a field survey and to inform the 1 st respondent on the course of action taken. The petitioner also made a representation on 13.01.2025 to the 2 nd respondent. Since it did not evoke any response, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into considertaion the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2 nd respondent to act upon the representation made by the petitioner dated 13.01.2025, in line with the letter addressed by the 1 st respondent to the 2 nd respondent dated 20.12.2024 and do the needful within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs. 23.06.2025 Index : Yes/No gya 3/4
