Penal Code, 1860 (Act 45 of 1860)' [hereinafter 'IPC' for the sake of brevity].

JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by M.SUNDAR, J.) In the captioned criminal appeal, Mr.M.L.Ramesh, learned counsel on record for sole appellant, who is lone accused in the trial Court and Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned State Additional Public Prosecutor for respondent are before us.

2. We are informed by both sides that sole appellant, who is lone accused in the trial Court is no more and his date of demise is 28.07.2021. Death Certificate in this regard has been placed before us and a scanned reproduction of the same is as follows:
