G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.

The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(B) of NDPS Act, 1985, in Crime No.84 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the A1 and A2 were carried 2 Kgs of Ganja in their two wheeler bike. After investigation, the petitioner along with family members and others were engaged in trafficking Ganja and procured Ganja from other state and has distributed to various persons for selling purpose. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that

there are totally 33 accused in this case in which, the petitioner is arrayed as 9th accused. The petitioner along with her family members procured Ganja from other State and distributed to various persons. Further, the contraband involved in this case is totally 15 Kgs of Ganja. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
